Welcome

WESTBRIDGE was registered at the kennel club Sept 1981

My first dog was a sable Rough Collie, Jason of Kentine, born 11/11/1973 followed a few years later with Ugonys Dream of Oliver, a great blue merle of the old Westcarrs breeding and my love affair with Blue merles.

I got my first Smooth collie in the early 80s from the Cotsbelle kennels of Betty Hodgets where I found them to be more fun than the Roughs.

In the 90s I fell for the Schnauzers.

At Westbridge we pride ourselves on good temperaments of all our dogs, which is a vital part when looking for a pet that will fit into any life style.

Victors are always welcome to meet all our dogs we don’t be leave in only showing you a few we are proud ourselves and are happy to show off all our dogs here by appointment only as we do have a busy life and need to make sure we have the time to show you around.

We also like new puppy owner to visit as often as they like to see the new puppy before taking them home sometimes distance is a problem and I am happy to pick out a puppy from a litter for you which as worked for many new owners of a westbridge puppy.
We are fully licensed with the local council, which means our kennels are up to date on standard of welfare, which is very important knowing where your new puppy is coming from.

2018 WE HAVE DECIDED TO CUT BACK ON OUR BREEDING AND WILL HAVE A LIMIT NUMBER OFF PUPPIES DURING THE YEAR WITH MAYBE ONE OR TWO LITTERS BEING BRED HERE .

Please be aware when enquiring about a puppy that I will also be asking questions about yourself and your home life.

Please feel free to look around my pages and if you are interested in coming over and meeting the dogs please feel free to call or email me where I would be happy to talk and chat about the dogs which are a great passion for me

Hi Andy, just to let you know Venus and Serena ( 2 Standards Schnauzers brought home on the 18th Dec 2010 ) are doing fine, They are 2 fiesty girlies who love their walks in the parks, cuddles and are great with the kids. They both have their own little personalities so still in the process of training them. They are 3 months old now and are starting to get their little beards and Schnauzer features and are adored by everyone who meets them. Will keep in touch and send pics soon. Take care, love the Warners x

Hello All We have a beautiful standard shnauzer from Westbridge born Jan 2008. She is a salt and pepper bitch and is the apple of my eye! I think she would love a friend to live with but wonder if anyone has any experience of introducing another dog into the mix? My husband and I have no children and are out 8hrs a day but we walk for at least 45mins/day with our dog and are really enthusiastic about clicker training. I would think an older dog (not a new puppy) could be a better option, any thoughts?

Hi Andrew! Just wanted to update you on Hector and Timmy. They have turned into fantastic dogs (apart from rolling in fox poo..any advice on how to stop that would be great:confused:), they are happy, affectionate and well behaved dogs albeit a little excitable still. They are fab with the kids but good guard dogs too and I am so pleased we ended up getting both because they love each other to bits and hate being apart. I'm even considering giving Timmy a go at Agility training (finances permitting) as I reckon he'd be great. Hope everything's well with you Natalie:)
